Woman who rear-ended farm trailer had a few things in her system
She told a deputy that before the accident she drank vodka, smoked crack and had taken Oxycodone, Clonopin, Baklaphine, Lirica, Tegradol, Paxcil, Dilantin and Lamiktal. (I have no idea what the latter items are. Anyone?) (Naples Daily News)
Dilantin is a synthetic heroine and Lamikatal is for depression and bi-polar disorder.
An impressive list!

Dilantin is some serious stuff. Anyone can research on the web.

Paxcil is an anti-depressant.
Clonopin sounds like something colonic. :P

Wow. Taking all that crap should have knocked down like a cow hit in the head with a sledge hammer.

And a .88 blood alcohol level! This must be the She-Hulk!

Oxycodone - pain
Klonopin, Tegretol, Dilantin, Lamictal - used for epilepsy and seizures and Lamictal is also for bi-polar disorder. Tegretol is also for pain and bi-polar disorder.
Lyrica - fibro myalgia
Paxil - treats depression and OCD
Baklaphine - ?? so not sure
In any case, how is this woman not dead?? Seriously, whoever wrote this, Naples Dail News staff, editor ahem ahem... really, the spell check function. If need be, Google it.

Ten years ago, she would have been my hero. I could never get past that tricky #7 on the intoxicant ingestion chart.

...but she can still pass a UA for marijuana. That should count for something.

It should be Baclofen instead of Baklaphine. It's a muscle relaxant. Most often used in multiple sclerosis therapy

Dilantin is what Richard Nixon was one for years. It's an anti-seizure drug also known as phenytoin sodium. I took it too for a while- side effects include invading Cambodia, depression, shrinking gums.
Dilaudid is a strong relation of morphine, beloved by the late Lenny Bruce, who used to inject despite it being far stronger taken orally. Side effects include death, loss of funny, jailhouse lawyer syndrome.

Baklaphine? More likely Baclofen. The reporter spells like he's on most of this stuff and no, phenytoin (Dilantin) is not an opiate or heroine[sic] analogue. It appears that the Naples Daily News,as well as most of the commenters here, could benefit from internet access.

I'm impressed she could remember them all.

Yeah, mostly antiepileptics and antidepressants, with a couple of painkillers thrown in. Just not spelled correctly. Stupid to take them with alcohol, though.

Sounds to me like she's an addict, bi-polar and has fibro myalgia. Wow what a catch she would be; I bet the relationship would be exciting! Lot's of drama.

Uh Merkin, these were prescription drugs, those are the drugs of rich, righty-whities.
Lefties don't trust the Man to make their drugs.

Dilantin is not a synthetic Heroin, only in a schizophrenics dream.
Oxycodone narcotic pain reliever
Baclofen muscle relaxant
Klonopin anti-seizure
Lyrica anti-seizure
Tegretol anti seizure
Paxil anti depressant
Dilantin anti-seizure
Lamictal anti-seizure
The officer and especially the reporter should have used Drugs.com like many other officers, Police Departments and ED’s do.
