Lawyer accused of crashing courthouse groundbreaking photo
"This guy had nothing to do with the courthouse," says a judge. "I was like, 'What the hell was he doing in there?' It was almost like this Forrest Gump thing." The lawyer wouldn't tell a reporter why he was in the photo. (Austin American-Statesman)
Now that's a Coog gone crazy.

And he was the only one smart enough to wear a hard hat.

They're usually worthless and completely forgettable...

It's always good to see a fellow University of Houston Law Center alum making a name for himself. Go Coogs!

>>> Groundbreakings are usually worthless and completely forgettable...
Maybe the reporter paid the guy to turn it into "a scandal" worth writing about.

This lawyer has few clients, a lot of time on his hands, and might have thought a free lunch would be offered, plus it was a lark for him.

Two possibilities...a prank that went even better than he intended...or he's a complete nutcase. Who else would show up at a groundbreaking ceremony with their own shovel?

Thats a great prank. Although in the current political climate, he may yet get arrested for terroristic threats. That shovel could be a weapon of mass destruction.

Don't sterilize him.

I think it's funnier than hell. The best part is the indignation of the other jokers. Who cares?

Hey! Maybe he was establishing an alibi. Check for murders around that time..

Kinda looks like Clark Kent...maybe he just saved the world or something and decided to get a little recognition. Why does it matter anyway?

I did something like that on a date. We were walking by a large group photo and popped up in the back all smiles when everyone said cheeeeeeeseeeeee

That's pretty darned funny. Dude is the only one in a hardhat, and he brought his own shovel.

OMG. This is funny. Not only did he bring his own shovel, he knew what kind and how to decorate it. It even has a matching ribbon. It had to be an 'inside job.'

OMG that's HILARIOUS he 'ruined' a 'memorable' photo by posing in it when he wasn't supposed to be there. no one will ever care about that picture except the people that were SUPPOSED to be in it!
