Restaurant says McD's stole its "Who's Your Patty?" slogan
Lion's Tap customers are as upset at the restaurant about McDonald's using the slogan. "It's daily. People come in. People phone us," says the manager. "They're very confused and they're a little bit upset." (Kare11.com)
So, come up with a new slogan. That one's lame anyway.

I googled "Who's your Patty?" and found a "Naughty Irish T-shirt" site using it, too. They should join the lawsuit and the fun!

Spot on. McD's marketing department sucks nuggets. It seems to be gone, but if I hear "Da duh dah duh daah, I'm Lovin' it!" one more time, I'm going to need to be sedated.

McGrease hasn't hesitated to bring a suit when it has felt that any one of its lame trademarks has been infringed. I see no difference for Lion's Tap to do the same.
Lion's Tap probably serves a better burger anyway.

I had a coupon for one of those Angus burgers. It would've tasted pretty good if they served it the same day it was made.
The McDonalds down the street from my job is a filthy pit and they let the homeless walk around and beg off customers. The sundae machine has been broken for months, paint is peeling and lights are burned out in the golden arch sign. I sent a message to the corporate office, I figured they'd be interested in maintaining some minimum standards, and they forwarded it to the local owner to investigate. Yeah, that'll do some good.

If you are familiar with the Whataburger chain in the South you'll the new McAnus burger ads are a carbon copy of Whataburger minus the Texas accent.

"People come in. People phone us...They're very confused and they're a little bit upset."
Seriously? I have no problem with them filing suit if they did indeed register the slogan but saying customers are upset and confused is clearly bullshit. They are simply paving the way to a financial settlement.
I guess I do have a problem with them taking legal action, since they are just as bad as McDonalds (who actually probably never heard of this place before). But they will appeal to the press and the cattle that cannot think for themselves and capitalize on the whole 'David vs. Goliath' thing.
Litigious scumbags.

Maybe he should shove a claw hammer into the McAnus of the local Mcdonald's manager.

I don't think their customers are confused at all. It's probably more like, "Hey, boah, joo see-em people up-airt McDonnel's a-saying same thang yew dew?"
