Dozens of people were seen gathering the chips [photos] and taking them off the beach. A cargo container loaded with the chips washed ashore after falling off a ship. Jessica Maxfield, who's doing an internship with the National Park Service, grabbed a couple of bags. "I was doing a bird survey. The gulls love the Doritos." (WTKR.com) | Virginian-Pilot)
What a magical sight to behold after an extended session with your trusty water pipe ;)

The DC-area has had a few interesting spills over the past ten years... Two favorites are the overturned beer truck with kegs on the roadway (no word on whether they were empty or full) and more recently, an overturned truck full of cookies (with at least one traffic reporter making jokes about waiting until after his shift and then heading over to help with a tanker full of milk).

Awhile back a truck full of frozen fries spilled onto one of the L.A. freeways, and the reporter made the same lame joke, only he said he was going to drive over there with a truck full of catsup.
