Newlyweds rescued after being lost in mountains for 5 days
What was supposed to be a one-hour jaunt to look at a waterfall in Castle Rock State Park turned into a five-day ordeal in the wilderness of the Santa Cruz Mountains after they couldn't find their way back to their car. (San Francisco Chronicle)
I would love to know if they were lost, or just stuck by the difficult terrain. Stuck is stupid, but somewhat understandable. Lost, at that location, is criminally negligent.
For the last time, don't climb down anything you can't climb up. Now Please repeat five times.

"Lost, at that location, is criminally negligent."
I was gonna say. Its kind of hard to walk west in that location and not hit something after some miles.
I ride my motorcycle around there in the summer.

Frankly, I think they survived by eating bright green herbs growning in the area and didn't give a damn if they ever got out.
