The 20-year-old man admitted that the urine to be tested wasn't his. The judge said the guy "tried to break down the process" by bringing in somebody else's urine, and being sentenced to prison for three years could send a message to others. Quincy Whig-Herald)

""It can have an impact on other people who come up behind you," Walden said."
I hope it is not when my pants are down !!
On another note, when I was on parole, I was asked for a urine test. I was NOT on any kind of testing, so I told the parole officer that I would supply a sample if HE held the bottle. After discussing it with the supervisor (I was VERY adamant about HIM holding the bottle !!), I didn't have to supply a sample. (p.s.- I would have passed.)

Wright said he took responsibility for his actions. Walden noted Wright had a long juvenile record, and Wright pleaded guilty to stealing $900 from a man at the Quincy Y last year.
Wright's probation in the theft case was revoked after Walden said he stole a weed eater, took a cab to a West Quincy, Mo., pawnshop and sold it for $15, then stiffed the cab driver when he was driven back to Quincy.

Hard to see how he got away with it. They usually make sure it's at a certain temperature range before they even accept it. He's probably dumb enough to have given them the urine of a pregnant girl. I can see the expression on his face when they tell him he's pregnant.

'... send a message...' boy I HATE it when judges or juries 'send a message'.
You are trying that individual for that infraction, NOT everyone that might do something similar in the future... that is what laws are for.
