Man pays $1 parking ticket 35 years late -- demands receipt
The 89-year-old man's $1 ticket was issued Nov. 7, 1975, for parking at an expired meter on near the Orlando Public Library. The same violation today would set the guy back $22. (Orlando Sentinel)
Looks like everyone got at least $1 worth of amusement out of this.
Make that $1.44 worth of amusement to include the price of the stamp.
