The victim told police she was dropping boyfriend Brian Hurley off at work when the two got into an argument over money. She says Hurley slapped her, got out of the car and started kicking the sides of the vehicle. He then got into a forklift and then drove it into her car while she was still in it. He then hoisted the car up, carried it several feet and then dropped it to the ground.

Money is probably the top reason behind most couples' arguments/breakups.
It's the only thing my husband don't argue about--probably because we don't have any money.

Well after that retort... did he win the arguement?

Is the girl a really slow driver? How long did it take for Hurley to get to the lift, maneuver it around and then come at the car? I call B.S.
OTOH, I would have paid to see that.

When he said he'd take her to the top, this wasn't what she had in mind.

my BS-O-Meter is ticking pretty high right now
as much as I dislike victim-blaming, I am also wondering how slow she is
after he slapped her and got out of the car, why wait around?

I'm thinking the delay in taking off is:
1. She probably couldn't believe her eyes when he was coming at her with his forklift.
2. Come on Big man POS. Get yourself arrested. Ha Ha.

I don't know, maybe she was trying to call the police regarding her assault and the kicking of her car. Maybe she was trying to calm herself down after the previous incidents. I think this is something we'll have to wait for the video tape or court testimony.

Forklifts are:
1: Generally pretty fast, depending on size. Not as fast as a car, but:
2: Ten times more maneuverable than a car.
3: Seriously capable of putting the whoop ass on a car.
4: Very underrated offensive weapons.
I think there should be more forklifts in action movies. Just let me drive it.

How about a movie where the "contestants" fight each other with forklifts?? Like the knights of old.
