Awww. What a cute little boy! He's the same age as my son. I just know how relieved his family must be to have him back. It's so scary when a kid goes missing.

And the 43 year old police officer is now happy he made the decision to not have children of his own.
I know I have two and constatnly wonder why I made the decision to have them.

I cut and paste a comment left on the Des Moines Register sight...obviously from someone who doesn't have children. No matter how hard you try you cannot keep children from exploring if they want too. This guy is a tool.
Nice job on the cops part. Who the he!! lets a 4 year old just wander off from a public park?
We don't know why he was abducted...

It's time to teach Reuben his last name, address and phone number of a responsible adult, if the family can think of one.

Spider man, spider man
Does whatever a spider can!

Seriously, though, Reuben Spider Man sounds like a real pistol! I'm glad he was returned to his parents after his adventure. They've gotta use their Spider Senses to keep track of him!

They're Liberian. Spider-Man IS probably his name.

I'm glad it worked out this time. But now, thanks to the details in the article, anybody with bad intentions knows just what to do to gain this child's trust.

"...anybody with bad intentions knows just what to do to gain this child's trust."
By the time the Des Moines Police give you a squad car, the kid will be much older.

No, I was thinking more along the lines of a police hat. Of course, in retrospect, it's not like they can look the kid up in the phonebook.

As a parent, grandparent and a preschool teacher, I know how quickly a child can disappear. The fact that the family called police after twenty minutes shows that they did not waste precious time searching for him themselves
