Cops suspended after locking teens in police van overnight
One of the five teens left in the van said they were "stranded" in the van for more than 14 hours with no food or water. Police had taken their phones, so they had no contact with the "outside world." NorthJersey.com)
The pigs should be locked up in a van for the same amount of time.

Good thing it didn't happen on a summer day in Alabama.
I think if parents who accidently leave their kids in cars can be charged with murder, this cop should be charged with attempted murder.
But he'll probably get a paid suspension and be back on the force soon.

Hmmmmmmm, 14 hours worth of piss from 5 boys. The van must have been really ripe when they finally opened the door. Maybe an appropriate sanction for the cops would be "detailing" the interior of the van.

I mean, even a holding cell has a toilet. Nice cop.

Prime a CS grenade and toss it in the back.
That would be (obscurestore) gold.
This is just trivial and only trivial because the cops involved didn't think of the CS grenade.
(missed the next youtube thingee by this much.)

The boys must have given the officers some lip ... and were conveniently "forgotten" in the van until the next morning.

Way to go, Kenobi.

Hey, at least they were suspended. Historically, in Philly, they could have been beaten to a bloody pulp and taken for a "nickel ride" in the back of a paddy wagon
(where your hands are cuffed behind your back, but not secured and the cops take turns racing around, slamming on the brakes, etc., sometimes resulting in permanent paralysis and expensive settlements)
and the arresting officers were more likely to be given medals than have any real repercussions.
This type of behavior seems to be changing with the new DA and Police Chief who have publicly acknowledged their are problem officers, several of which have been arrested and charged with crimes ranging from robbery and assault to drug dealing and extortion.

Would have certainly been a problem if one of the kids had a medical emergency, wouldn't it?

Where the F*ck were the parents???
There has not been a 14 hour period in my kids lives, when I did not know where they were, since the day they were born. Those kids spent 14 HOURS in the van before their parents were called? How much of a head start would a murderer or a kidnapper have on these Parent-of-the-Year candidates?
Yes, do blame the cops for this one, but smack the hell out of the parents, too. This is BS.

Maybe the parents were thrilled the obnoxious little jerks were away from home that long.
