Man rides lawn mower to kennel to rescue dog, gets arrested
The man sprung his poodle from the pound using a lawn tractor and bolt cutters, only to land himself behind bars with no one to rescue him. While he was in jail, his dog was put back in the pound and euthanized. (The Oklahoman)
Poor dog. Too bad his owner was an idiot.
LEASH YOUR EFFING DOGS, PEOPLE!
I love dogs, but I would never let mine out without a leach, having to pay a fine to get them back is the BEST outcome - the worst is if they get hit by a car, or shot by a cop. Yes, our cops are known for shooting pomeranians and any other animal that 'threatens' them.
Bark Bark! BANG! Effing cops.

So the dog gets put down for owner stupidity.
They couldn't run the dog's story and let someone FOSTER the dog? /facepalm. No. "Let's kill it lololololol!" God I hate people.

The poodle is the innocent victim of teh stupid. The owner should have figured out after the first citation that he needed to either tie up the dog or fence his yard. And the pound shouldn't have euthanized the dog while its owner was in jail.

Bureaucracy at its finest.

dog was not the problem, owner was the problem. Problem is, without consequences, no change in behaviour. Consequences applied, ignored, damage done, therefore behaviour gets even worse. Dog dead, problem solved, at least until this idiot gets another dog. I say if the problem occurs again, 'euthenize' the owner, put dog up for adoption.

This idiot didn'y deserve to have a family dog. He should adopt a picnic table and not another dog.

I feel sorry for this dog, that it had to lose its life because its owner, who the dog had absolute no say over.
I was kind of amused that this guy was called "Hydro Man" in the headlines. It sounds like a comic book villain or something.
