Prankster changes construction sign's message to song lyrics
Give the prankster(s) credit for not using obscenities. They programmed the sign to say, "Danger, Danger/High voltage/When we touch/When we kiss" -- words borrowed from a song by the Detroit-based rock band Electric Six. WAOW.com)
Beats the heck out of oiling down the high school ...

I think this is pretty funny. I would have enjoyed seeing that on my commute to work.

Isn't this the second story we've had about someone hacking into electronic traffic signs? I'm half recalling that the other one was in New Jersey.

They always threaten hefty sentences in cases like this, claiming that the pranksters are "threatening public safety", which might make sense if I'd ever seen a vital safety message on one of these signs, as opposed to "Expect Delays" or "Construction Begins May 5".
Arguably the humorous messages increase driver alertness, by making them wonder what the hell they're going to see next.
