Mom sues strip club after 16-year-old daughter hired as dancer
Valorie Duran says of the people who run Emperors Gentlemen's Club: "If they would have done their job, they would have known she was 16, someone's daughter, and someone is gonna raise a ruckus." (WTSP.com)

"She says her daughter was violated by being made to dance fully naked in front of older men."
Hiring her was illegal. But she took the job, so I wouldn't say she was forced to dance. Although I feel that I am forced to work my job every day.

Surely she lied about her age to get the job and probably presented false ID as well.

Remember that scene in "Cat Ballou"? Lee Marvin says to Jane Fonda something like, "Last night it was dark. In the dark I felt younger. And you felt older."

"Hey, ma. I got a idear. Let's git a fake eyedee and Ah'll git me a job at a strip joint an, win they hahr me, we kin soo em fer thet thar an' make sum munee."
The wrong shit began when the mother was born.

How about doing your job as a parent and having some idea what your child is doing.

whata bunch of crap.....I'm not big on strip clubs, but what are they supposed to do, make potential hiries produce a passport and birth certificate? She showed them a fake ID, they didn't kidnap her and make her dance. chances are mom and the 16 year old had many all out brawls that led up to her "getting in teh wrong corwd and becoming a cronic runaway".....but now of course she is mommies ticket to the bigtime.....if the turd mother gets half a mill how much of it do you think the 16 year old would see?

Humm mom should of been a mom to start with and her baby girl might of not been out on the streets as a run away looking for love from men she did not know... Mom you do not deserve jack!

Why aren't the pictures considered child pornography?
Posted by: Notch Johnson | Friday, May 28, 2010 at 10:24 AM
So every single guy who has seen her dance can now be placed on the sex offenders registry for looking at a minor?
Gee mom, why don't you start being a mom than a money-grubbing attention whore.

From the comments they have this link:

Damn. No wonder they cut off her face in the newspaper pics... assuming it is the same girl.

Hey, if a club can't get in deep trouble for serving booze to underage kids, then they sure as hell should be in deeper trouble for hiring an underage kid in the sex industry. You gotta be a jerk to pin this on the mom.
P.S. - I like the Monty Python Twosheds reference. Hilariously, the first google search hit for twosheds was for Michigan strip clubs.

wouldn't that be child porn?
@ignorance--actually employers are required to see a birth certificate & ss card. or a passport. they have to fill out an 'i-9' form.

Clearly the strip club didn't look too closely at the 16-year old's identification, which is required for employment.
I bet they have illegal aliens working the pole there, too.

Mom should have used Spy Software to monitor her online activity.

"...they would have known she was 16, someone's daughter..."
So she is implying that the other dancers aren't anyone's daughters. Does she think they were brought in by the Strip-o-stork?

Hey batsu, by any chnace, you got the number for the Strip-o-strok?

The strip club should sue the parents for not doing their job of raising their daughter properly. Another case of worthless parents who shouldn't have been able to have a child trying to blame someone else for their mistakes!!

But on the bright side...
"The teen recently called her mother from Los Angeles, telling her that she desperately wants to come home."
Excellent idea. Cali-FORLORN-ia is no place to be. Okay. I don't really mean that, but I can't resist.

She's not nude or doing something explicit. It's like that bikini image of Miley Cyrus on those Hannah Montana home pregnancy kits.

Don't lay this all on Mom, I know teens who are out of control due to their peers and wanting to be "cool" with great parents, sometimes shitake happens
