Ouch!: Man loses skin on left pinky while robbed of iPad
The victim had the bag containing the iPad "wrapped around his left hand and he was holding on tight," he told police. The robber jerked so hard that it stripped the skin on part of the guy's pinky down to the bone. (Denver Post)
Some folks would give an arm and a leg for an iPad. This guy just gave a pinky.

Jeez, maybe next time he won't be taken so seriously when he says he'd give his left pinky for an iPad. Of course he's only got part of it left to give so maybe it will be worth it.

"It happened so quickly. If there is any message in this, it can happen anywhere at any time. This happened in broad daylight," Jordan said. "You have to be alert at all times, especially when you're shopping for expensive items."
SO true! But I'm sure this ain't the first time the crook has does something like this and been in Jail for it. Put him there and keep him there this time!

At least he did not say he would give his left nut for an iPad. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUJ-8R4ghXU )
Seriously, the sad thing is the guy went in to buy it for someone else. He did not even know what an iPad was until this point. I am pointing this story out to our local students, who have a bad habit of leaving iPhones, laptops, smartphones, etc. unattended in our library for hours at a time. A thief here could really make a killing, with no lost fingers, if they wanted.
And no, I am not telling where Backwater Rural Branch (BRB) U. is.
