Ali Kimia, 32, allegedly stole a 72-year-old man's Honda Accord and robbed him of personal belongings. The carjacker choked the man and drove away, only to return and resume strangling him. The crime victim survived. (San Francisco Chronicle)

A telling social statement of our times, but also somewhat of an oxymoron considering the physical effort he put into his crime.
