Man regrets shooting mountain lion that was eating his llama
"He was gorgeous," but the lion was devouring Grayson the llama. Meanwhile, a second llama, Frito, is missing. Its owner notes: "It doesn’t answer to anything." So don't bother calling out its name. (Jackson Hole News & Guide)
My new posting name will be "StopEatingMyLlama."

“I walked into the kitchen and, sure enough, there he was. I had one shoe off and no underwear.”
Um, what? Who wears one shoe and no underwear? Did he have pants on or just the one shoe? And why is that a relevant statement?

I shot a mountain lion in my underwear. What he was doing in my underwear I'll never know.

He was not fully dressed inside his own home. Apparently, people aren't arrested for that in Wyoming.

"'It hurt me to shoot that guy,' he said. 'He was gorgeous. He was a big male. All he was trying to do was make a living. It's Wyoming. It's wild. It's why we live here.'"
That quote makes it sound like an altercation at a male strip club.

Good thing it wasn't a cougar.
I hate to see a woman killed.
Speaking of cougars, where the hell is RMM?

Mountain lion, puma, panther, cougar... they're all the same animal.

catman, you forgot catamount, the name of which causes an intriguing visual.
Posted by: LimeGreenLizard | Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:29 AM
don't forget catamount
Posted by: possumO | Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:34 AM
So, you're saying as a mountain lion goes, catamount is tantamount.

Well we know she's not reading a book or taking a class.

Circle of life.
You can eat mountain lion.

The Mountain Men were said to praise panther meat rather highly.
Here in Michigan, you'd have a better chance getting the
DNR to admit the existence of Sasquatch than to get them
to officially admit that panthers / cougars have
successfully reestablished themselves in the state.

This guy walks into a bar with a llama on his head and says, "If I'm lion, I'm dyin'!"

thomas, please don't mention furries, the mere thought of which makes me want to cower in a corner with my guns. I'm more afraid of them than llamas.
