There were bones and feathers arranged in a ritualistic pile. There were bloody knives and a machete, figurines of African or Caribbean design, candles and incense. A neighbor says the guy who lives there was "just in and out doing his thing." (Philadelphia Daily News)

This all happened over the weekend.
They found horse hair and feathers, etc.
It was from THIS

Ah, geez, American Vet... Why'd you have to go there?
That wound is still too fresh.

I suppose Michael Vick has an alibi, being that he works weekends and all.

I liked the comment from the "expert," an English professor, to the effect that this was good old fashioned religious practice rather than animal cruelty.
I'd like to see the throat-slitting, feather-strewing witch doctor move in next door to the good professor and see if his views change.

I for one am proud to live in a great country where people are free to practice any sort of spiritual superstitious non-sense they chose.
Weather it be animal sacrifice to symbolic cannibalism to dancing in the sun till one drops.
THIS is what makes the USA the number one nation in the world people! Cherish it! People have given their lives for these rights.
That and the right to shop or not to shop at ROUTE 60 HYUNDAI, which SUCKS.

Yes , AV, and congrats on your 6th win. You can keep Jay, with our blessing! lol
And my Aves won this weekend, unlike the rest of the teams around here. I believe we will be seeing each other on April 9th..
Try to not sacrifice any animals in an effort to help your teams, though.

Animal sacrifice? Now that's REAL old-time religion.

@ American Vet- Jay Cutler saw to it that the Broncos draft pick will be farther back. Broncos need a lot of help to get in the playoffs now. Not that I think they would get to the Super Bowl if they did. I hope the Eagles beat DallASS. Hey I like how you took a animal sacrifice story and tuned it into a sports thread.

Well, Bronc Gal,
Someone always has to be the goat;-)

This is part of an established religion.
How is it different from making your own chicken soup?
Wake me when it's human sacrifice.
