Knifepoint gets you unarmed robbery?
Unless every bone in his body was broken it hasn't passed the excessively mark on any beating someone who held a knife to my family would get, so I don't think he has a case.

Hahahahaha! Shot and ass-kicked! The guy just doesn't know when to quit, does he?
Did you check out the comments at the end? I like the one who pointed out that in order to get the "unarmed" plea, he had to give up information on other robberies and that would probably make him a lot of friends in prison.

What, did he expect to get away Scott-free?

When do you think the online legal fund will be started so he can raise the $10K to post the bond to sue the store owners?
This story did make me smile though.

You gotta pay to play, or, in this case, commit legalized theft.

He not only failed in his robbery attempt, he was beaten, put in prison, and now probably won't be able to sue because he has to pony up $10K----it's the feel-good story of the day!!!!
