Tyler Kruze invited his listeners to send a photograph of themselves doing their household chores, in the buff. The best one would win concert tickets. After getting grief from some people, Kruze said: "I conducted a contest that some people may have found in poor taste. For listeners and parents alike, I want to say I am sorry."

"Parents cheering on their volleyball players at a sectional game in DeForest Thursday said they aren't happy with the message the promotion sends."
So what--the reporter was hanging out at the volleyball game and thought, "What the heck--I'll see how these guys feel about it?"

If you listen to a moron, expect moronity.

Um, Jim… It’s “listeners”, not “listening”.

"Deejay apologizes for asking listening to send him nude photos"
come on jim! you aren't allowed to make mistakes.

It should probably read "listeners" instead of "listening" in the title.
What's the problem with this promotion? If people want to send him pictures, that's their prerogative. If they don't, it's not like he's looking in their windows.

It's almost as if the listening's had no choice in whether or not they would send in nude photos...

"some parents said they believe it still isn't sending the right message to children who might have been listening."
did you see the playlist? if you allow your kid to listen to something called lil' wayne then why are you worried about a stupid dj?

But think of the children! Our hopeless, wimpy, over-coddled, children.

I don't know who's stupider, the DJ or the ditzes who sent him their nekkid pix. Just one photo of an underage person could get him sent up the river for kiddie porn.

Is what we read in the media the naked truth?
Posted by: American Veteran | Friday, October 30, 2009 at 08:48 AM
We used to listen to this radio station but it was taken over by DJ's who have turned it into the Jerry Springer show of radio. I'm not surprised they asked children to create and mail them kiddy porn. They're sex obsessed, racist, sexist, homophobic--as they blather on about how they're not. It could not be any more "white trash". It's bad and they need to be taken off the airwaves.

Does FM radio even exist anymore? I thought satellite and the internet replaced it. I haven't heard an fm station in years.

@lsmft - Not all of us want to (or can) spend the $ to put satellite radio in our cars. I listen to FM much of the time I'm at work or in my car (no CD player or iPod interface, either).
