Here's one for "Mad Men" fans: She plays @peggyolson on Twitter
Carri Bugbee, who tweets as Peggy Olson, has 14,000-plus followers. "When I was at the South by Southwest conference this year, and I told people who I was, someone said, "Oh, my God, you're Internet famous!" she says. (Oregonian)
I wish I were internet famous.

You are in my section of the tubes.

@twerp - But you are! It's just that it's only a small part of the Internet.

Uh, I think the correct term is "iFamous."

14,000 people have so little to occupy themselves that they follow this pointlessness? And she thinks it is intellectual curiosity.

Furthermore, does anyone else think that Mad Men is the most over-rated show on television?

I was taken aback by her comment that Twitter is for the intellectually curious. Who is she kidding? Twitter is for people who have no life.

What is Twitter, anyway? What's a Web Slice?
A 14 year old would never have to ask that question.
A 49 year old would. And just did.
That's alright. My rich boss only knows how to use the internet and Outlook email. And he's younger than me. Ha!

2 EMMYS>>> @peggyolson is by far the most well written character for a woman to play and portray. Hats off to Michael Weiner. Both Elizabeth Moss and Carri Bugbee deserve Emmys along with the writer's room for authentic material. Total Respect for characters that are so full of life, we get a cheap thrill of knowing them more.

"For me, Twitter is like crack cocaine for the intellectually curious. If you're not intellectually curious, it's going to seem like a lot of noise."
Count me among those offended/perplexed/amused by this comment. Give me a break.
