You don't say!: Cops conclude cat-killer suspect is a sociopath
In an interview with police, 18-year-old accused cat killer Tyler Weinman eagerly detailed how to dissect cats, even describing the ''tearing sound'' made when cutting open a feline's flesh, according to an arrest affidavit, which is in PDF format to the left of the story. I think I stuck up for this guy when the original story ran. "Innocent until proven guilty" or something along those lines.
This kid is a true POS.
I totally retract everything I said earlier.
(Except for the cat-hater thing. I still hate cats. But they don't need to die that way.)

HELL HE JUST HATES CATS.......HE IS REALLY DOING SOCIETY A BIG FAVOR AND SHOULD RECEIVE A METAL FOR HIS EFFORTS.

Yikes! He sounds like he's one step away from dissecting his father the same way he served out those cats.

"Prosecutors charged Hayes in connection with the mutilations of 19 cats, the first found on April 28 near Weinman's home on the 19400 block of Ridgeland Drive in Cutler Bay."
Who is Hayes?

Since he lives in Miami, the guy should changed his name to "Dexter."

YKMBN, I was thinking the same thing....who is Hayes?
MONKEY JERK - Yeah, a metal bat right upside the head.

Hayes is the sociopath's middle name. Read the entire page.

Oh! You mean the little blurb under the video? Thanks for the tip 'reading'. Referring to someone suddenly by their middle name seems odd but hey, whatever, right?

LOL @ ykmbn! Proof reader Nazis!

Middle names work. In fact, it's perfectly normal "knowmeby" and "Green".

I have a younger brother who we call by his middle name. So what is the big deal?
Posted by: Woods Walker | Jul 7, 2009 3:28:29 PM
Lots of people are referred to by their middle names. The point (I think?) is that the guy was called by his last name through most of the article, then inexplicably by his middle name. It threw a couple people off.

Journalistic style requires that the person's full name (at least first and last) are mentioned intitally, then the last name is used thereafter. The New York Times and a few others insist on calling the person Mr. (or other appropriate honorific), which can seem a little odd in cases such as "Mr. Hitler." The use of the middle name is peculiar.

Let me guess...his "defense" is gonna be "oh I had a bad childhood" or "I was abused" or "kids at school were mean to me". Yeah well I don't care! Thousands of people deal with those things everyday and they don't torture innocent animals. I seriously hope that the judge sentences this freak to the max. I have no doubt he will do something like this again. This story makes me sick. My heart goes out to the people who have lost their beloved cats to this psycho. I can't even imagine finding your pet mutilated like that.

Yeah Iron I wonder if killing this Class A citizen would be straying from Dexter's code...too bad it's just a show.

This guy is innocent. Cats are naturally mean and vicious and eat lasagna.

This happened in my neighborhood, I know this kid. My little brother went to elementary school with him and they've been friends since. No one thinks it's him. The police have yet to reveal any solid or concrete evidence. It's all purely circumstantial at this point. Also, the bit about dissecting cats--we ALL had to do it in biology, not just Tyler and I'm no more of a cat serial killer than he is.
