And where oh where is our site correspondent from Torrington?

Beaten by a pack of enraged virgins. What are the odds?

The kids didn't know what they were hearing? Is this the downside of abstinence-only sex ed?

How do 16, 17 and 19 year olds not know what sex sounds like???

Screamers.. I love screamers. It's like having a cheerleader squad in the room.

they opened the door and let them in?

I think this calls for an independent investigation. I'm going to put a tape recorder on the couch downstairs(with my wife's concent). We'll go at it upstairs (with the door closed). When we both think the investigation is complete we'll listen to the tape to hear if it sounds like I'm harming her.
We'll have to do it again to see if our results are consistant.

It's just like in the movies. Someone "forgets" to lock the bedR door. (What idiot, I ain't sure) Then the sh*t begins.
I say we call it a draw. Young'uns taking up for mom (or whomever) and a simple love fest went bad. No harm, no foul.
All Skate, all skate...

WHAT FRIGGING RIGHT DID THEY HAVE TO GO IN THEIR BEDROOM ANYWAY? IF THEY WERE THAT WORRIED THEY SHOULD HAVE DIALED 911. SOUNDS FISHY HERE.

maybe it was the guy making the loud screams

RESULTS BLOG:
Wife didn't scream loud enough both times. Had to keep same scream level both times to make sure results were consistant. A third test may be needed but have wife elevate noise level. I'll give a shout out for good measures.
Results to be documented after we wake up.

Elroy, if you had time to go at it 2x + the required time to review said "noise level" to make sure the results were inconsistent in the 36 minutes between your posts. Then I would also have to assume the Screams coming from your Mrs. were not ones of Joy & Happiness, but more ones of disgust at it not lasting long enough.

Okay, I am calling bullsh!t right here. Screamers CAN and DO control the screaming. If you are screaming that loud, you are doing it on purpose to be heard. Screaming O's are still just as good with a pillow over your mouth. What a crock.

Maybe they didn't know the 16 year old was in the house.
I only ever wanted to beat someone with a baseball bat in my first apartment. The couple upstairs was at it for hours every night, but it wasn't her screaming. It was one of those old metal bedframes with the springs all night was squeaking springs and the headboard banging against the wall. Drove me nuts.

Good lads! Yes, they probably should have called 911, but their instincts were right. I'd rather my sons made fools of themselves that way than took a chance on some woman being raped or abused. I hope there aren't any charges pressed.

Have to agree with RMM on that! Sometimes, they're even better that way....for me at least. Can let really loose without worrying about who (if anyone) hears me. But you're also right, RMM,that some people actually prefer to be heard and scream that loud on purpose.
Joel, I'm glad you said that. Having once been a victim of SA, I will attest that it's ALWAYS best to err on the side of caution. What I wouldn't give to have had someone in the vicinity prevent that ordeal for me if at all possible. These young men risked their lives to prevent it (they thought) for that woman, rather than wait for a 911 call and response. Takes a lot of guts to do that in this day and age. Sometimes, normal sex noises are indeed indistinguishable from cries during rape, Me....even to experienced adults.

Growing up I always knew when to not knock on my parents bedroom door. Their bed squeaked.

I feel bad for the kids. The children - they aren't adults yet - were trying to do the right thing and to defend the adult woman. In this world, where folks will turn the other way while someone gets stabbed to death in the streets, their initiative, at least, was laudible.
Yes, they went about it in a totally wrong way, and an allegedly innocent individual suffered as a consequence, so there should be consequences, but I don't think they should face criminal charges. A fairer resolution might be monetary restitution (for medical bills and counseling).
I don't think the adults displayed all that great judgment either. The article didn't really explain what the relationship was between the girl and the woman, other than that they lived in the same house. I'm sort of curious about that.

Didn't read the article, but LMAO at the comments. Hello to all of my OS&RR friends, and I hope you have a happy 4th Weekend! I miss you guys--be in touch!!

If you READ the otherwise bad written article you will find that contrary to some of your assumptions:
--the door was locked
--the teenager knocked and the adults opened the door, (what rapist caught in the act will open a door?)
--and that the women was also injured by the teens.
Does not seems to me like a rescue mission, more like a excuse after the fact.
