Man calls 911 to report botched McDonald's order, rude worker
Raibin Raof Osman, 20, was jailed after reporting to a 911 operator that McDonald's employees failed to give him the orange juice he ordered from the drive-thru window. He also complained about rude service. (Oregonian)
We need a new category for stuff like this: No Longer Obscure (sadly)

Well, the funny thing is that years ago I'd call the non-emergency police number to report noisy neighbors and they'd tell me to call 911. I was taught as a kid only to call 911 in dire emergencies, so I guess the dispatchers weren't getting enough calls. I mean, how many real emergencies do you see in a city in a day?

Ok, I know this is going to sound racist, but I don't in any way mean it that way... The complaint that the drive-thru worker was making fun of his brother because his brother didn't speak good English... Ummm, I've been to that MickyD's and I doubt the workers there have better English skills than his brother.

Next time I go to the store where the sign says 'if more than 3 in line we'll open another register' and they don't I'll call 911 and let them take care of it.
I think more states should have jail time/fines for using 911 for stupid things like this.

"He was not open to having the deputy educate him."
Neither am I generally but here I think this is a euphemism for "being an asshole"

Sorry Chief, it was a typo. I hope I didn't offend RMM, who is our resident Warner Brothers cartoon expert.
