Boy, 10, helps cops by locking his drunk dad out of his car
The father was intoxicated when he drove to school at 1:30 p.m. to pick up his son. It was nothing but trouble after that.

OK, I have to. He went to pick up his 10 year old son...at school...at 1:30PM...drunk.
WTF!?!?!
The sad part here is that while I applaud the 10 year old for quick thinking, it pains me to realize that the 10 year old knew to do that because he KNOWS his dad is a no good drunk and was all too familiar with dad's deplorable behavior. What are the chances this isn't the first...or 10th...time this has happened?
Now this 10 year old, no matter how right his actions were, has to live with the fact that he had something to do with dad going to jail. It's OK if a 20 year old puts his good for nothing old man in jail but it still has to affect a 10 year old.

Great mugshot. Guy looks like he doesn't have a care in the world.

"his third such offense"....I think this answers your question joel.
Also, this kid really had nothing to do with his loser father gettting arrested, all he did was lock the car which resulted in one less police chase...in the end the POS would have been arrested anyway.
What? Don't they have child endangerment laws in Minnesota? This POS should have had his kid taken away, period...now the kid haas to live with this pile of human excrement. Chances are....once the kid sees that dad only gets a slap on the wrist..he'll grow up to do the same. Take the kid away and sterilize this turd.

...alot of fecal references in your post,jj, don't you think? LOL but I agree 110%

@jj I did see that this was his third offense, but i didn't relate it to his third offense of picking up his kid while drunk, just drunk driving in general. However, I do believe that he probably has picked up his kid drunk many times before.
Also, I fear that you may be right on the 'slap on the wrist'. Wife beaters and child beaters/endangerers usually ride on easy street.

River Falls, WI is just like a smaller more rednecky version of LaCrosse, WI. (guess you have to know both to really understand that)

Good kid, but what are his chances with a drunken assdouche dad hanging around his poor little neck like a millstone?
