Claim: St. Pat's Day cotton candy was tainted with ant poison
The guy who hand-delivered the cotton candy to town offices has gone out of business, explaining that "there is no longer any fun in it. The enjoyment's out." An investigation continues. (Albany Times Union)

Crazy. Either he's some poor guy who was just trying to brighten some kids' day and got caught in some kind of weird freak accident, OR he's some poor guy who was just trying to brighten some kids' day and was criminally negligent, OR he's some kind of psycho.
Either way it's an interesting story.

The pink panther comment along with the cotton candy theme of this story reminds me of a kid I knew who ate fiberglass insulation because he thought it was cotton candy. DARWIN AWARD anybody?

I like cotton candy, but I hate when it attracts ants. What's the problem? Sounds like this guy saw a problem and fixed it.

TAG, I love that joke. I told it to my aunt when I was a little girl, she swears its the first joke she actually "got" without it having to be explained. I guess that makes it sentimental to us...
If he did it, it is pretty clever. I never would have thought of it. But one little girl getting sick out of all the town employees?? I think they are ganging up on a guy with a complaint. Doesn't sound credible to me!
