Meet the kids who beat a cheerleader for the video footage

Allegedly, of course. The mugshots of the eight teens who have been charged with felony battery are now online. The victim's dad still refuses to look at the taped beating. "As far as I am concerned, MySpace is the anti-Christ for children," he says. "I hope this comes to a final resolution. I am not going to stop here."

Inhabitants of certain parts of the Sunshine State think that 'relative humidity' is the sweat caused during sex (see by-products above).

I just shared this information with my kids who are home on spring break. Their opinion: arrested girls = waste of oxygen.
I do sincerely hope these teens get charged as adults. I also think they need to spend a lot of time with a psychiatrist.

...MySpace is the anti-Christ for children...
Hah! The Anti-christ *wishes* he could do as much damage as MySpace!

This kind of shit infuriates me, mostly because our "system" will fail us....these little bitches need to be thrown in a cell for a good long time, and not all in the same cell, let them all be someone's girlfriend for a week or two, then we'd see how friggin funny it all is. After that put them all on a chain gang cleaning up the roadside for a couple of summer Florida months, preferably near their school, kick them off of any school organizations and put them on probation til they're 21. Oh, and don't forget to have all of their parents pay doctor bills and pain/suffering. Instead they will be allowed to go on with their routines, laugh about it, and be made heroes in school.

Well, I hope they get the maximum they can get. That said, the two boys look like the type who could be even bigger jackoff losers when they get out.

So very sad

I watched the video of this last night and they where going to post it in Youtube as well so it is not just a Myspace issue.
Anyways, why is it always a fat ugly girl beating up the attractive thin female? Sadly I've seen videos like this before and it is always the fat ugly girl that wants to be up the thin attractive one.

Myspace: Still the nuisance bar of the Internet.
Posted by: Phranqlin | Apr 8, 2008 9:43:06 AM
TAG,
I don't know. Maybe it's because some people treat people differently (better) because they are thin and attractive. Must be really frustrating for the fat ugly girl.

Phranqlin you could remove myspace, youtube and fackebook and I can still name over a hundred different placed this type of content could easily be hosted on for millions to see.
Take away myspace and kids will still trash talk via IM's or other means. People have to stop blaming the Al Gore for their problems and start looking at what really goes on in their lives. This is not Al Gore's fault.

this is the part where the kids are taken outside and to their own terror of watching their parents get beaten severely in front of them.
the parents will in turn then beat the crap out of their kids for causing their parents' ass whooping
the kids will learn never to act this dumb again. the parents will learn thet they have better take a more active role in their kids lives.
everone will learn from this. Pain is the greatest teacher

It seems the dad is blaming Myspace more than the kids for this. I get the feeling the dad is going to find a way to sue Myspace for this.
Posted by: Naga Please! | Apr 8, 2008 9:57:35 AM
I'm not so sure that Myspace should be to blame. You Tube isn't much different, nor is Facebook or any other site that is frequented by teens. Its the teenagers that are at fault here. I've mentioned before that I'm being sued because of a conversation my daughter had on Myspace when she was 15. Never once did I figure myspace was to blame. It was my daughter's poor judgement that landed us in this situation and fortunately she learned from her mistake. What amazes me is what she did pales in comparison to all the other things I read about. These kids need to get their own asses beat by their parents. I monitor my teens myspaces at least once a week and demand that they give me full access. I have been astounded at how many parents have never seen their kids myspace or dont even know that their kids have one. That is complete laziness and lack of parental control and involvement.

Those kids look good in orange jumpsuits.

TAG, I'm not blaming MySpace for this behavior, just remarking upon how it acts as a focus for a lot of negative things about them thar intertoobz.
I agree that shutting down MySpace isn't the answer; the bad behavior would just move elsewhere. Kind of like how shutting down a nuisance bar just displaces the obnoxious drunks to another watering hole.

Unfortunately many young people have been desensitized to violence through video games and fantasy games. They become psychopathic in their way of thinking. They get a sense of superiority from bullying weaker people.

Too young for sterilization?

It's silly to blame this on Myspace. Kids have been doing things like this way before the internet. The only thing the internet has done is made people more aware that it happens. On the plus side it does make the prosecutions case a heck of a lot easier.
"Following their arrests the girls joked in a holding cell. One asked if she would be able to make it to cheerleading practice the next day, while several others joked that they wouldn't be making it back to the beach anytime soon, he said."
If it were up to me I'd give them 30 years each.

No, Bob. Just in time....

if myspace would go away, all kids would behave, we wouldn't even have to worry about parenting anymore.
Posted by: boynamedsue | Apr 8, 2008 10:35:57 AM
Personally, I would love to see them all beaten in much the same manner, but obviously that's not an option. I say charge them as adults with attempted murder and kidnapping. Let those small minded, low-life cowards fend for themselves in jail for the next ten years or so. Their parents must be so proud!
Posted by: Wendy | Apr 8, 2008 10:43:25 AM
Normally I wouldn't advocate this... but I think this is an exception.
Throw them in jail with their own personal drill instructor. Those girls don't have self-esteem issues. They obviously suffer from too much, and need to be knocked down a few hundred pegs.

Cheerleaders, eh?
Kick her in the left knee,
Kick her in the right knee,
Kick her in the ...
Oh, she doesn't have one.

When I was growing up we didn't have U-Tube, Myspace, or Facebook, however, the same type of crap happened. Does anyone remember slam books? Damn, those things were hateful.
These are worthless little girls with nothing better to do in their petty little lives than to hurt someone else. I hope that they get charged as adults, and I hope they do time.
Are you going to miss cheerleading practice? Yes, little girl, and probably high school graduation too, you worthless turd.
