Oh God...I just had a thought....now I'm sick at myself for having this thought. Do you remember a few years ago that cartoon pic that was circulating...of the HUGE woman that had lost her little dog? and she was putting up LOST posters ...and the dog was literally stuck in her ass crack? LORD save me. Its too early in the week for this type of crap. I'm going to hell.

why would you drop your two year old child off at a bedridden 800 pounder's house for "supervision"? Neglect much? Why else was he there alone? The article isn't very clear. Was the behemoth on top of the child on the floor or was she laying peaceably in bed? More questions then answers.

Not only should anyone who leaves a kid alone with an 800 pound bedridden person be charged with neglect, but anyone who continues to overfeed someone who weighs 800 lbs. and can't get out of bed should be charged too.

They're talking about arresting her....how are they going to get her to the jail? Use a crane? Personally, I think the parents should be arrested because they are so stupid to leave their two-year-old with that woman.

This woman is already in her self-imposed jail. She is just going to go to prison and be bedridden there as well.
There was a case not so long ago in the news where a morbidly obese man was let out of prison because they did not have the facilities, or manpower, to take care of him. I fear that this case may have the same results.
People are just stupid. In this case the parents as well as the auntie.

We once had an obese woman hired to work in our office. She quit for an unknown reason. Although, I think she quit because the restroom was not forklift accessible.

If the child services agents had been called to the location numerous times before....THEY should be arrested for not protecting the child right along with the parents. The panic that poor little kid probably felt just makes me sad. I wonder who, if anyone will learn lessons from this? (as far as the 800 pounder goes...I'd get a fork lift and put her ass in jail, let her live on 3 moderate meals a day...THAT would be a sentence worse than death I'd assume.

Think about it. An 800 lb person wouldnt have the energy to do anything but lay in bed. So.. if this woman went to another room for any reason and the child crawled UNDER the bed when she did, she would have come back into the room, plopped down on the bed and crushed his skull never knowing he was there. Sad,yes..and neglectful by the parents. They should have the other children removed permanently for their carelessness.. as for the aunt.. shes paying the ultimate price.. a public that already derides her and will now make sicker jokes while she has to live with this tragedy. Jail isnt the place for her. it wasnt a criminal act--unless you want to jail anyone who is overweight. The parents are another story. Just take the kids away.

Well, MBI...was she doing anything about it? I can sympathize with some people, but there truly are some out there who just don't take care of themselves.
I work with a woman who--LITERALLY--takes 40 minutes to get from her parking space to the office, a 3-minute walk at most. And it's because she won't do anything about it. All she does is piss about how people make fun of her because she's lame.
She wasn't always. It's her own fault. I could let myself get fat and slovenly too, but I don't.

There was a story a couple of weeks ago where a Sicilian mobster of a mere 600 lbs was unable to go to prison because he was so obese that they couldn'y accomodate him. If this lady were to go to jail I'm sure the same problems would be prevalant.

What do you expect people to say when an obese woman walks into the office and eats up all the food? Also, they smell pretty bad because they can't bathe properly.
Oh wait...sorry, I'm sure she got that way through pure diet and exercise....
