I'll bet he's stiff now, though.

Oh, he was cremated. Never mind.

Is this assault with a dead weapon?

Dave, that would make him a hunka' hunka' burning love!

(drumroll, rimshot)

Does it even still work when you're that old?

I think these stupid government payroll receiptients should issue an arrest warrant. Then, they can send some stupid piggies out to find the guy and arrest him. At the trail they can sentence the ashes to several years in prison.

Why does our society tolerate such incompetence?

Lois, my grandfather in his 80's, would say "the older the buck, the stiffer the horn".

Posted by: Rock Marine | Mar 21, 2008 6:58:17 AM

Well, that's a good excuse!

Posted by: twerp | Mar 21, 2008 7:03:50 AM

Wow. Still - seems like there'd be a big difference between 80 and 91.

Well, I'm in my 60's and I think it performs better every year. I guess I'll just need to wait another 30 years to know for sure. No Viagra needed here!

Gives new meaning to being asked whats up!

Lois, there's a reason some guys are referred to as old goats. Never underestimate the power of positive thinking. There's many an old man who last act was going for the groceries on a young nurse.

I had 15 year old male siamese cat who had been neutered as a kitten. We introduced a young female cat into the house and he instantly turned into The Siamese Sex Machine. Spraying on the curtains, fighting the other male cats, various and vigorous attempts to mount the female. I finally starting dosing with him estrogens to turn down the volume on Radio SexFromMars.

Nell, you're correct, I'm one of those "old goats", and loving every minute of it.

My boyfriend is 58 (22 yrs older than I am) and not all those old goats need viagra. All I can say is that if he were closer to my age he'd kill me... I can barely keep up as it is.

I will never forget the day that my grandparents were over for dinner and the T.V. was on in the background. Well, one of the ads for Viagra came on and my grandpa proudly announces: "I don't need any of that!" I was pretty embarrassed, but good for him and my grandma.

nellagain - That's a funny story about your cat. We had Siamese cats for years, and all were fixed, but they never got too terribly excited when a female cat was around.

People have been known to pretend to be dead to avoid prosecution. At 91, though, he may not be pretending.

Ild. I have a girlfriend that is 25 yrs. younger than me, and she agrees with you.

Posted by: Rock Marine | Mar 21, 2008 8:17:28 AM

People ask why I'm with him, but there is nothing I lack in any way. Besides, Rock, use or lose it... right?

Posted by: lld | Mar 21, 2008 8:19:25 AM

Ild, that's what my son the doctor tells me.

Rock Marine: I just gotta ask - do you still sport the military haircut, or have you gone all civillian? (I know its unrelated)

I think the punchline makes the story: "The next court hearing for Ridenour was set for April 14." They know the guy's dead, but they scheduled another hearing to make sure he's really really dead?
