Book about Four Seasons Hotel guests is pulled, but...

The publisher decided not to publish it after review copies were sent to newspapers. So the Sun-Times (and other papers) tells tales about the celebrities. For example, re Gary Busey: He belligerently requested that a 10-foot palm tree be relocated to his room. (Chicago Sun-Times)

Gary Busey is hilariously insane. Did anyone see that red carpet interview with him and the little girl?

No. Please let there be a clip of it somewhere!

Also, please will someone else find it for me? I'm lazy. Thanks!

That's true El. He's barely functional. Its kind of amazing he can get work. Must be interesting on the set.

I admit I have a bit of contempt for the super rich, but its based on the behavior of assstraws like these. That's why I never watch award shows - a bunch of self important and indulgent holes of the ass in a 3-hour wankfest.

I thought I was crazy!

These people confuse being rich and famous with being interesting and important.

Trout,
When you are rich you get to use your money to buy being interesting and important. No one would know who Paris Hilton is at all if she hadn't bought her way onto Page 6. (Although, obviously money only got her halfway there, she had to sleep her way to to the top.)

Unfortunately for these people, one cannot buy intelligence.

Or class, decorum and good taste.

I do some work on the side that puts me in Hollywood now and then and at the studios, and I’ve met/dealt with a lot of household names. Some truly are the most empty, arrogant pieces of crap on God’s green earth (and no, I’m not naming names but some of them would probably surprise you). There are also some who are totally opposite. One of those I’ll name is Jon Voight. I never used to care much for him as an actor, but every single time I’ve met him for whatever reason he has been unfailingly the nicest, most down-to-earth, real person you’d ever meet. He treated one friend of mine who was just tagging along like he was royalty and his oldest and best friend.

Interesting about Jon Voight, he doesn't come across very wel on talk shows. Seems a little nuts, especially where his daughter is concerned.
