The guy was bloodied in the crash, but still went after the other driver. (SuburbanChicago.com)

Outstanding.
Fs up his car and will get charged. I hope his insurance doesn't cover him. Asshamster.
Note I declined to use the terminology "FIB driver".

What a little loser.
Once he is found guilty his insurance won't even pay for this car.
lol

Very good C. Lion,
Brings to mind the Holy Grail scene with the knight who had both his arms and legs cut off and was shouting "Come back and fight like a man"

I have always found Volvo drivers to be the worst type of driver. I always have incidents with these weasels. Cut-offs, quick lane changes, speeders, stop sign runners, own-the-road drivers.
What is it about this make of car that has a**holes driving them?

This guy had better not ever take up NASCAR racing as a career.

volvo station wagon drivers are the wost people on the roads.

Asshamster LMAO!!
Is that like Lemmiwinks?

I also like the name of the town gurnee. Probably the asshamster guy will need one eventually.

Sterilize him.

I can understand getting pissed at being cut off but flipping someone the bird is a lot simpler than flipping your ride 4 times.

Ahahahahaha, what do you say to a coworker after reading a story like this about him in the local paper???? Talk about uncomfortable conversations. Shouldn't he be charged with assualt too? He got blood on the guy as he pushed him, which could be assault just for the blood transferral couldn't it? The guy he pushed was 5" taller and 100 lbs heavier than him and in the pest control business....shouldn't the appropriate response have been "shoe fly, don't bother me"?

I don't think you even need to touch someone to be charged with assault. Just threatening to hit someone is enough.
I've gotten angry at other drivers, but I think getting cut off is one of the least objectionable things that happen on the road.

The cut-off is the worst. It makes my blood boil. Some scumbag pulls out in front of me. If I hit them from behind, it's ALWAYS my fault! If I swerve, I potentially hit another car and get charged for "failure to control vehicle".
I always lose, while the asshole who didn't feel like waiting for me to pass has no fault.
Notice they didn't even go into how the cut-off went down.
I guess it comes down to "they started it and put my life in danger by doing so."
heh.

Sean - if someone cuts you off, and leaves you no margin to avoid an accident, it is their fault.
If they cut you off, then you start tailgaiting them and rear end them, it is your fault.
It isn't as clear cut as rear-ending is the person at fault.
Now that said, demonstrating that they cut you off, and that it was their fault that there wasn't room is going to be difficult.
I would imagine the bigger problem is the back of the car clipping the front of the other car. That is the likely accident scenario where the person in back isn't being a jerk themselves.

"Tis only a flesh wound."
Count me as another one with a low opinion of the driving skill of Volvo drivers.

Volvo - they're boxy, but they're nice.

"I wasn't going to hit him back. I was just afraid that I was going to be implemented in all of this."
I'm sure being attacked and bloodied by an angry little mosquito of a man who just flipped his Volvo four times can leave you pretty dazed, but I think he meant to say "implicated".

Hmmm...I drive a Volvo station wagon. I don't cut people off, and I've never had an accident.
So, Not a Volvo and boynamedsue...you both can bite me.

when did hamsters start driving?
Posted by: b | Aug 1, 2007 1:04:53 PM
Gaza seems to be a decent person. He stopped to see it the asshamster was OK. Do you think that someone who cuts another driver off intentionally would stop like that.
As far as who are the most arrogant and dangerous drivers, my vote goes to a certain type of person in an SUV. I've been cut off on my daily highway commute by SUVs more than I can count. My most vivid memory was shortly after 9/11. This huge SUV replete with American flags and and newspaper flags taped to the windows passed me and cut me off. Keep in mind I was doing 75 in the left lane.

"I was just afraid I was going to be implemented in all this." Implemented how? Implicated? Poor guy.

It's "likely" he will be charged with reckless driving?
