I thought there were some interesting findings (a well-paid crowd!) , although you always wonder how honest people are when they answer these kinds of surveys. In my quick-eyeballing of the results, I didn't see how many people answered the survey. Latest stats show that OS&RR gets about 12,000 visits daily. Thanks to all who took time to participate (and who visit the site).

I missed the iink to participate in the poll -- but the 'Tatoos and Piercings' results seem rather suspect as they list no responses for '0', and the values seem to add up to 100%.
I'd also have to complain, as a former resident of Kentucky, that Bourbon was lumped into 'Whisk(e)y' and yet Scotch got its own category.
They were also missing a question of 'how likely would you be to answer a poll linked to from a blog?'

Don't really post much here, although I constantly visit this site. That was quite an indepth and interesting survey. I'm apparently the only Muslim (or as swarthy would say, "muzzies") who comes here...sweet. The best part of the comments is either watching the cliques that form or watching people turn on others...good stuff...

Obleeze I don't know of any "cliques" here. Some of us tend to agree with each other but I also a lot of times disagree with those same folks but a lot of times I don't say anything out of respect and some people I just flat out ignore because they are a waste of my fingers moving across a keyboard.
And Pam, how much junk in the trunk we talking? I like a woman with a back side. I need a sticker on my car that reads "NO SKINNY CHICKS"

TAG - It seemed like there was a time when all of the women posters were teaming up, sharing baby pics or something...I don't know, maybe I misread that...And when I say clique I guess I'm referring more so to people sticking up for/or siding with each other in the presence of other posters, like you did for lowercase becky against PMN...it's just interesting to see stuff like that...

I was also going to post that I'm starting to get dismayed by the direction the posts have been taking. I've been posting here for a while and reading longer. But lately, it seems to have been a forum for racists to air their feelings and others to fight back. If I wanted to read about that, I could go to some KKK board or something. Same thing about religion, if I want to read about religion, I'd go to some other board. This kind of fighting is not what I want to read about when I come here.

I read daily but don't comment too much. I would've taken the survey if I'd seen it!
I'm white, college educated, female, liberal, social drinker and pot smoker, west coast, and have a good job in high tech. I also have junk in the trunk! And I love Obscure Store. :)
