Drunk man breaks into "Mary Tyler Moore house" after dare
Responding to a report of a break-in at the Minneapolis home featured on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," police found a 24-year-old man asleep in a second-floor bedroom with the television on and a remote control for a ceiling fan in his back pocket. "He seemed stunned," says the homeowner. "He says, 'I'm sorry. I was drunk in the middle of the night and friends put me up to it.'" (Star Tribune)

When I read the headline, I first thought it said he broke into singing "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" theme song.
They would probably arrest me for that.

That made me laugh out loud. His friends are awesome...assuming they are still friends, of course.

"That's a big chunk of my life put into this," he said Monday evening. "It's disillusioning."
Did he think Rhoda was going to stick around as a security guard?

Not nearly as cool as when I lived in LA and my (then) boyfriend, who worked on the lot at Universal studios, used to sneak up to the Bates Motel with a few of us aspiring types and get stoned. That'll tweak your buzz. Oddly, no one ever felt compelled to spend the night up there.
