Woman is mauled by her dog -- and will lose her pot plants

Cops discovered the 100 or so plants while responding to the dog-mauling report. A lousy day for the woman. (San Francisco Chronicle)

Pit bulls surely have been given a reputation as being the dog of choice of drug dealers and psychos. I do not know if a breed of dog can be inherently mean or if owners make them that way but for some reason we never hear a nice story about a pit bull and when we hear at all it is at a dealer's house or some thug's hovel. This woman may have read in High Times or something that pit bulls are great anti-police weapons, or maybe they keep them so that dopers won't break in and steal the stash. Anyhow, everytime a police raid ends up with them killing a pit bull to get in, the owner should be charged with some felony related to that. And she lost her dope to...girl was having a bad day.

In other news. 5 percent of the hops in the nations went up in flames the other day.

Firefighters responded but police declined to press any charges when they found what was in the buring storage facillity. Seems that even though you can overdose with much greater ease on alchohol, it is the legal one.

you know, i remember the last time i was growing, and my pit bull got really pissed off after i wouldn't give him any more biscuits. he woulda gone all over me, but the smoke was pretty strong, and it mellowed him out. we ended up sitting on the couch together watching 'repo man' on showtime.

he was allright ... except for his tendancy to drool in th' bong.

which is more likely to attack, a drunk pitbull or a high pitbull? A drunk man, or a high man? State your reasons.

then use this response to justify our current controlled substance laws.

My gawd...can't own a vicious animal...can't grow weed in your own home. What's the world coming to????

Excellent point, BNS. I've always maintained that this country could make a FORTUNE if they legalized marijuana and prostitution. Tax everyone involved and regulate it and this country never has another deficit.

My cat attacks my feet and ankles to make me go to the door and let him out. He gets his teeth in my sock and tries to pull me toward the door. If I don't move fast enough, he spits and hisses at my feet. Rest of the time he's cuddled up on me in front of the TV. So I think there's a missing link in his brain (as with all cats probably). I've never had a dog love me and attack my feet; they seem to get the connection right.

Dogs can figure things out better. But beware if they are aggro, whether bred or curried to be. They have huge mouths, strong strong jaws, and four on the floor. If you've ever had to escape from a dog, consider yourself fortunate to have succeeded. Of course, those characteristics are what makes them good for guarding, and policing.

Whatcha think?

I honestly thought the headline was "Woman is mauled by dog--and will lose her hot pants."
