Be thankful you don't work for U.S. Rep Katherine Harris
One minute she's smothering you with hugs and praise; the next minute she's calling you an "idiot." (St. Petersburg Times)

Harris calling someone else stupid???
"Mr. Kettle...There's a call for you from Mr. Pot. Mr. Kettle, please pick up the black courtesy phone..."

Holden--long time, no see, buddy!
You are so right about that. There's a reason Chuck Shepherd (http://newsoftheweird.blogspot.com/) refers to Florida as "The F State." After being the face out front during the Bush-vs-Gore election debacle, I just cannot believe she got elected to the senate.
Then again, I was living in DC when Marion Barry got busted, and then reelected, so I really shouldn't be surprised about anything in politics anymore.
She and Cynthia McKinney are really giving women in politics a bad image, and I wish they'd just go away.

Give the girl a break, she may be going through the change. Look, people who bitch about politicians have to remember that we set this low standard for public officials and we get what we vote for. Think about it. If you knew someone honest, forthright and diligent-how would that person go about getting elected. We want candidates who say anything to anyone and we eat it up. Still, Harris has a freakish look about her, possibly she is the zombie candidate from Florida.

Yikes! I'll never complain about my boss again!
If she can get ballistic over what shade of blue her business cards are, how is she going to make major decisions that affect her state?

sounds like a typical politican!

She hasn't really made a national ass of herself, but Rep. Shelia Jackson-Lee, D-TX does the same stuff. Most Texans will cringe at the mention of her name...thank goodness she hasn't made it to the level of Kat Harris though.

Sounds just like my boss. Even the same name. Hmmm.

This must be an epidemic... the most recent News of the Weird starts out with tales of similar madness from New York state Senator Ada Smith ("known to some as the 'Wild Woman of Albany' for her temper"). Yikes!

Anyone see Seth MacFarlane speaking at Harvard using the Stewie Griffin voice? "Katherine Harris. The woman could be standing next to Hitler and people would ask 'Who's the bitch?'" LOL
